You'll be fine!
Right after my procedure, I reached up to my chin to feel out the damage, but because of the local anesthetics, it felt like touching another person's chin. So for the next few hours, I couldn't stop touching my own chin. So weird.
Have a toothless Miata.

You'll be fine. Some people tell horror stories, but most of the time it's a piece of cake. I wasn't even sore after I had mine out.
They give you some good drugs. They'll probably put you under for the procedure. I woke up a little groggy and with a mouth full of gauze.
